FL Partners has advised the Danish engineering and IT company TekPartner on its sale to the Finnish concern Etteplan, who enters the Danish market with the acquisition.

TekPartner is a successful Danish company specializing in electronics development that covers all core disciplines within embedded software, intelligent electronics, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), and IoT (Internet of Things). For several years, TekPartner has achieved remarkable growth rates, and in 2019 the company realized a turnover of approximately 60 MDKK and an EBITDA of approximately 7 MDKK.

Etteplan provides solutions for industrial equipment and plant engineering, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions to the world’s leading companies in the manufacturing industry. In 2019, Etteplan had a turnover of approximately 263 MEUR and over 3.400 professionals in Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Denmark, and China.

The transaction is due to TekPartner’s desire to serve its customers within a broader portfolio. Through the acquisition, Etteplan will achieve an attractive platform in the Danish market, which will be at the forefront of realizing several new growth opportunities.
