FL Partners has advised the Danish IT company Support-IT Network on its sale to IT Forum Gruppen, which with the acquisition expands the local presence on Zealand. The two sellers, Peter Hansen and Søren Brandt, remain in the company and maintain an equity interest going forward.

Support-IT Network specializes in a wide range of hosting solutions and owns a complete server hosting environment, supporting customers with departments worldwide. In the current financial year, Support-IT Network has a turnover of approximately 50 MDKK, where most of the revenue is generated from subscription services. The company enters the new constellation with 26 employees located at their office in Ballerup.

IT Forum Gruppen specializes in hosting and IT services for Danish companies of all sizes. The company has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and has recently welcomed the Danish private equity fund VIA equity as co-owner of the company. IT Forum Gruppen has approximately 50 employees at their departments in Aarhus, Odense, and Ballerup.

The motivation for the transaction is based on Support-IT Network’s desire for a geographical expansion of the current business. The acquisition has also brought Support-IT Network into new surroundings that provide access to new business areas and thus strengthens the current service offering.
