FL Partners has advised the Danish IT company Microdata on its sale to VækstPartner Kapital and private investor André Dommer, who will take over as CEO of the future setup.
Microdata is a successful Danish provider of IT outsourcing solutions for small and medium-sized companies, which since 1997 has provided professional Managed Hosting and IT security solutions. With its 16 employees, Microdata generates revenue of approximately 22 MDKK in the current financial year, most of which stems from subscription services.
VækstPartner Kapital is a Danish private equity fund investing in Danish B2B companies with significant growth potential. As a co-owner, VækstPartner Kapital actively contributes to executing strategic initiatives and the value creation of Microdata.
The new owners consist of VækstPartner Kapital as the majority owner, André Dommer, and Microdata’s key employees, who maintain an ownership interest in the company. The owners pursue an active strategy of scaling the business that will position Microdata as a preferred supplier and a significant player in consolidating the IT outsourcing market.
